I was scrolling social media the other day. You know, using my precious time wisely. One of my social media follows posted a video and a response to a terrible narrative from a well known Pastor now turned podcaster/influencer. I’ll drop the name past the paid break. A little thank you to all of you who support this Substack.

People get uncomfortable when you drop names and I genuinely try to be charitable with other people’s content. Sort of the way I hope people are charitable with mine. Not everything I say has come out exactly like I would have wanted it. Or worse yet, someone grabs a 30 second clip and completely misses the context of what you were intended to say. With this situation though there is a track record to go on. My major beef is I rarely hear the Church or Christians talked about in a positive light from them. I was feverishly typing a social media post and paused because I wanted to express my thoughts in a more long form medium.

Here’s my major red flag when it comes to any Pastor, Podcaster, or Influencer:
